The Fleet Celebrity’s ten glamorous ships comprise one of the youngest and most innovative fleets among the major cruise lines. Cuisine Celebrity Cruises has always been known for its award-winning cuisine. Dedicated to meeting the highest standards and utilizing distinctive methods of culinary preparation, Celebrity’s gourmet delights are made from scratch, seasoned with fresh herbs, and prepared with only the finest produce and provisions. Celebrity has partnered with Elizabeth Blau & Associates to revitalize and design the entire culinary program, which includes menu and wine list development, galley design, service standards, and executive restaurant staff training. Cruise Deals:AquaSpa by Elemis A pioneer in the development of spas at sea, Celebrity first introduced AquaSpa by Elemis to enhance guests’ vacations by combining a world-class beauty salon with a full menu of spa treatments and fitness programs. AquaSpa’s Sensory Heaven spa treatments feature Asian, Middle Eastern, and European influences that employ sea and fresh mineral water to detoxify and refresh the body, mind, and soul. The spa offers a thalassotherapy pool, jasmine flower baths, rejuvenating facials, and exotic massage treatments including aroma stone therapy, Hawaiian four-hand massage, and an enriching Egyptian ceremony of milk and ginger. Celebrity’s fitness center features magnificent floor-to-ceiling views and state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, step units, rowers, benches, and free weights. Onboard personal trainers are available to assist guests with their workout. Yoga, aerobics, cycling, and body sculpting classes are all available onboard. The AquaSpa Cafe is available on the Constellation, Infinity, Millennium, and Summit. Located in the solarium, the cafe serves healthy entrees and snacks including smoothies, chilled soup, fish, gourmet salad, fruit, fresh-baked breads, and made-to-order specials. “Celebrity Escape” “Celebrity Escape” cruises have been reserved exclusively for adult guests ages 21 and older and are only available on several select sailings per year. The program features Celebrity’s traditionally superior service, cuisine, and entertainment. The only difference is that there are no children onboard. Special features available on “Celebrity Escape” cruises include late-night comedy acts, professional dance instruction, classic romance films, and themed events such as a Valentine’s Night at sea, 1970s-era disco, and 1940s-era Big Band nights. Special features available on deck include poolside fashion shows and parties, afternoon tea with classical string music, scavenger hunts, and private European-style sunbathing. Guests may also enjoy an enhanced golf program, a lengthy room service breakfast menu, and extended hours for both the pool and Celebrity’s award-winning AquaSpa. Family Cruising Celebrity’s Family Cruising Program is available on all sailings. A warm and caring staff of highly trained counselors allows families to relax during their cruise vacation. The four-tiered youth program is created for children from ages 3-17. Each morning, children and teens are given a program list of daily activities. Children’s activities include games, parties, and the Shipmates Fun Factory. Teens can enjoy special parties, pools, and a disco. Celebrity’s Science Journeys program allows kids to participate in hands-on educational voyages, interact with sea life, and explore the history of pirates, sunken treasures, and excavation. All children under the age of 18 are eligible to participate in Celebrity’s unlimited soft drinks program. Children are able to obtain soft drinks anywhere onboard the ship with the exception of the casinos, Michael’s Club, Martini Bar, Champagne Bar, and discos after 10 PM. Entertainment Celebrity’s fleet is home to an array of entertainment options ranging from the Celebrity Theatre’s Broadway-style productions to the Celebrity Lecture Series, featuring lessons on personal finance, astrology, wine education, and a special guest lecturer series. The Monte Carlo-style casino features blackjack, roulette, Caribbean stud poker, craps, and video and reel slot machines. Blackjack and slot machine tournaments are featured onboard every sailing. Celebrity Xpedition Celebrity’s newest addition is the Xpedition, which debuts in June 2004. The Celebrity Xpedition is the smallest member of the fleet, with a maximum capacity of 100 passengers, allowing it to sail into smaller, less-traveled destinations. Itineraries will include cruises to the Galapagos Islands, the High Arctic of Canada and Greenland, and Antarctica.
